Nataša Vučković for Nova S: Hate speech is intolerable for an institution such as the National Assembly
TV Nova S, „Među nama“
Nataša Vučković, Secretary General of the Center for Democracy Foundation, told TV Nova S that today, the National Assembly is a source of hate speech, which is completely intolerable for such an institution.
I think the people want to have a different parliament. Serbia deserves a parliament where hate speech is prohibited, where people treat each other with respect and dignity.
This government’s tactic is to rule by way of conflict. The government is constantly creating conflict, then deepening them, and this is spreading. Attacks have begun on those who galvanised the protests. It is important for the protests are held continuously. It is good that they are decentralised and that people are gathering in many places, fear has disappeared and the people are encouraged.
Walks and protests are an expression of hope and the need to show that we expect a different Serbia.
