    The Pontis Foundation and Serbian Center for Democracy, taking into regard recommendations of members of the Fund's Evaluation Board, organised a presentation trip for Stevan Veljovic, whose articles suggested provocative questions about structural reforms in Serbia based on experience of Slovakia.

  • Debate "Society and state against violence"

    Center for Democracy, with the help of Friedrich Ebert Foundation, organized a debate "Society and state against violence", within the project Democratic Political Forum, on October 22nd, 2010 at the National Bank of Serbia. 
    Opening remarks were given by Tomo Zorić, spokesman for the Republican Public Prosecutor's Office and Miljenko Dereta, executive director for Civil Initiatives.

  • "European standards in Serbia" - IV session

    Program „European Standards in Serbia" continued with the fourth session, which was held on Friday and Saturday, 8-9th October in hotel „Tami Residence" in Niš.

    Participants from Nis and Pirot counties had an opportunity to learn how to write projects for IPA funds, and they had basic training in a workshop, organized by Ognjen Mirić and Petar Spasić, members of the Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integration Božidar Đelić's cabinet.   
    Next session will be held on 10-11th November at the same place.

    The Pontis Foundation (Slovakia) and the Center for Democracy Foundation (CDF) (Serbia) have announced the 2nd Call for Proposal for researchers and organizations from Serbia to undertake research projects. The deadline for sending the project proposals is 8. October 2010.
