  • Debate: "Youth and violence"

    Center for Democracy, with the help of Friedrich Ebert foundation, organized the debate, Youth and violence, within the project Democratic Political Forum, on February 27th, 2009 at the National Bank of Serbia. Introductory remarks were given by dr Dobrivoje Radovanović, dean of Faculty for special education and Stanislava Vučković, an UNICEF project consultant for the project „School without violence“. The moderator was Miša Stojiljković, B92 journalist.

  • Implementation of EU Values, Policies and Standards in Local Communities

    Center for Democracy, with the support of the Delegation of the European Commission in the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, has started the project “Implementation of EU Values, Policies and Standards in Local Communities.” One of the central activities of the program will consist of trainings for local policy makers, businesses, agricultural producers and NGOs in the two counties.
    After the successful realization of the program in the Pomoravski county, we are starting our work in the Rasinski county. The program will be organized in the period March-April in the Krusevac. 
  • Debate: "Possible Responses to the World Economic Crisis"

    Center for Democracy organized 16th debate, “Possible Responses to the World Economic Crisis”, within the project Democratic Political Forum, on February 11, 2009 at the National Bank of Serbia. Participants were Ministers and State Secretaries of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, representatives of business sector and international organizations, as well as members of the academic community, NGOs and media.   • European Standards in Serbia / Program for the counties of Pomoravlje and Rasina

    European Standards in Serbia / Program for the counties of Pomoravlje and Rasina Center for Democracy, with the support of the Delegation of the European Commission in the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, has started the project “Implementation of EU Values, Policies and Standards in Local Communities.” One of the central activities of the program will consist of trainings for local policy makers, businesses, agricultural producers and NGOs in the two counties. From 23rd October until 6th December, four sessions were held in Pomoravski county, and the project will continue in Rasinski county in 2009. Applications for second round of sessions (Rasinski county) will start in February.

    Center for Democracy organized the debate "Serbia and Croatia – Possibility of Good Neighborhood Relations", within the project Democratic Political Forum, on December 8th, 2008 at the National Bank of Serbia.
