Center for Democracy organized the debate "Media – More or Less Legislation", within the project Democratic Political Forum, on October 23rd, 2008 at the National Bank of Serbia.

European Standards in Serbia / Program for the counties of Pomoravlje and Rasina Center for Democracy, with the support of the Delegation of the European Commission in the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, has started the project “Implementation of EU Values, Policies and Standards in Local Communities.”

One of the central activities of the program will consist of trainings for local policy makers, businesses, agricultural producers and NGOs in the two counties. From 23rd October until 6th December, four sessions were held in Pomoravski county, and the project will continue in Rasinski county in 2009. Applications for second round of sessions (Rasinski county) will start in February.

To mark the completion of our eighteen month campaign The Power of Our Social Responsibility – State, Business and Citizens for Economic and Social Rights, Center for Democracy organized a national conference on economic and social rights in Serbia, held at Sava Center on June 27, 2008.
