  • "Let`s Stop Age Discrimination and Endorse Active Ageing" project finished

    Center for Democracy Foundation held a press conference on Thursday, 28th of June in Medija center in Belgrade, regarding the end of the project:"Let's Stop Age Discrimination and Endorse Active Ageing".
    Speakers at the press conference were: Nadežda Satarić, president of the management board of „Power of friendship Amity", Leila Ruždić from Municipality Zvezdara and project coordinator fro Center for Democracy Foundation Tijana Kljajević.

    Speakers presented the results and the observation that they obtained during the one-year implementation period.

    Project was implemented in cooperation with NGO Snaga prijateljstva Amity, Union of Employers and Zvezdara Municipality.

    The project is funded by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, under the EU funded Support to Civil Society Project.     
  • Debate: "Is the Serbian health care the worst in Europe?"



    Center for Democracy Foundation, with the help of Friedrich Ebert Foundation, organized a debate "Is the Serbian health care the worst in Europe?", within the project Democratic Political Forum, on June 21st, 2012 at the National Bank of Serbia. 

    Opening remark was given by Academician Prof. Dr. Miodrag Ostojić

  • „Intergenerational dialoque" work shop held in Sopot



    Center for Democracy Foundation organized the work shop „Intergenerational dialoque" on 31st of May in Sopot. 
    40 people, 20 older than 60 years and 20 young representatives of political parties attended the work shop. Older participants presented to a young, future decision makers, specific problems they encountered and pointed them to certain shortcomings that they potentially have the chance in future  to change. The main topic of discussion was the inter-generational solidarity, and how to improve it. 
    Work shop was organized as part of the „Let's stop age discrimination and endorse active ageing" project, with the help of partner organizations: NGO Amity, Union of employers and City Municipality of Zvezdara. 

     
  • FCD at the NGO Fair

    Center for Democracy Foundation participated in this year`s NGO Fair, on 24th and 25th of May 2012, at Nikola Pašić square in Belgrade.

    During  the Fair, we represented our current projects to the citizens: Attractive workplace for all, Democratic political forum, Decent Work Balkan network, Let's Stop Age Discrimination and Endorse Active Ageing and others.

      
  • Debate: "How much is Serbia politicaly mature after the elections?"



    Center for Democracy Foundation, with the help of Friedrich Ebert Foundation, organized a debate "How much is Serbia politicaly mature after the elections?", within the project Democratic Political Forum, on May 22nd, 2012 at the National Bank of Serbia. 

    Opening remarks were given by Dragoljub Mićunović, president of Center for democracy and Đorđe Vlajić, editor in chief of Radio Belgrade I.
