For the future

Ten years in the life of one institution is not a small period. If we recapitulate the past decade, we can be certain that, no matter how long the Center for Democracy Foundation will last; past years will be a very important part of its history. Previous period was abundant with dramatic political changes, economic isolation, social turbulences and international crisis and conflicts. Historical visions offered by different elites and institutions took turns. In this turmoil, Center for Democracy Foundation remained dedicated to its principles, working in accordance with the proclaimed goals and agreed values.

Ten years ago, founders of the Center for Democracy gathered around the common need to join democratic potentials and their engagement on the development of democratic ideas, democratic political culture, fostering the spirit of dialogue and tolerance, improvement of justifiable political opinion and education of citizens for participation in processes of democratic society creation…
