Consultations about the Third draft of the Action plan for Chapter 19
Meeting of the Working group 17 of the National Convention on the EU (WG17 NCEU) with the representatives of the Ministry of labour, employment, veteran and social affairs, about the Third draft of the Action plan for Chapter 19 – Social Policy and Employment, was held on January 15, 2019, in Belgrade.
Meeting was opened by Tanja Miscevic, Head of the Negotiation Team, Nenad Neric and Dragana Savic from the Ministry of labour, employment, veteran and social affairs.
Natasa Vuckovic, coordinator of the WG17 NCEU, pointed that the short deadlines were left for sending comments and suggested that one more meeting with the Ministry should be organized in the short term. She presented the general comment on the draft of the Action plan, which refers to the structure of the AP, and the lack of basic elements (expected results and indicators), too long deadlines for implementation of harmonization and adoption of the regulations, lack of mechanisms for controlling the implemented activities, and the mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation of the AP.
Working group presented on the meeting the analysis of the Action plan by Chapter 19 units.
