Training - Enhancing the Impact of Gender Mainstreaming

Mentoring and Monitoring for Real Impact project

On 3 and 4 October 2023, the Center for Democracy Foundation organised training in Kragujevac on how to increase the real impact of gender mainstreaming. The training was organised in collaboration with the German Development Cooperation.

Training for CSO representatives provided to contribute to further strengthening the promotion of gender equality in Serbia by empowering women's organisations to respond to key gender challenges in society.

The following speakers shared their knowledge and experience with those in attendance: Tanja Lindell (Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia), Darija Šajin (Aarhus Centre Novi Sad) and Aleksandra Mladenović (Environmental Ambassadors for Sustainable Development).

The aim of the training was to increase knowledge on gender mainstreaming and climate change, women's economic empowerment, opportunities provided by IPARD funds, as well as to familiarise participants with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act and how it relates to gender issues.

The training was organised via the Mentoring and Monitoring for Real Impact project, with the financial support of the German Development Cooperation.
