The Next Generation: Youth Internships Empower Regional Change
Regional Youth Dialogue for Europe - RYDE
Across the Western Balkans, a new generation of civic leaders is rising - bold, passionate, and ready to shape the region’s future. Now, a unique opportunity is calling young changemakers to step up and make a tangible impact.
The Academy of European Integration and Negotiations (AEIN) released a video highlighting transformative experiences of past RYDE interns and the program’s powerful role in fostering regional cooperation, intercultural exchange, and democratic values among Western Balkans youth. The video was created as part of the Regional Youth Dialogue for Europe (RYDE) project, funded by the European Union.
The RYDE internship program is opening doors for youth aged 20 to 30 from across the region, offering a transformative two-month paid experience in Tirana, Pristina, Skopje, Sarajevo, or Belgrade.
Learn about EU reforms, youth policies, and structured dialogue where change begins. Boost your skills in advocacy, human rights, and project management. Join a dynamic regional program that promotes reconciliation and intercultural exchange and contributes to real youth initiatives. Experience life and culture in a different Western Balkan city.
Applications are open until July 25th. The volunteers are scheduled to carry out their two-month internship between September and December 2025. If you're ready to learn, connect, and lead, now’s the time.
Be the voice. Be the bridge. Be the change.
Apply now and help shape the future of the Western Balkans - one intern at a time.
The Regional Youth Dialogue for Europe (RYDE) Project is implementing by the Center for Democracy Foundation (CDF), Belgrade (as project coordinator) and partner organizations: Academy of European Integration and Negotiations from Tirana (AIEN); Kosovo Stability Initiative from Pristina (IKS); Association Network of Progressive Initiatives from Sarajevo (NPI); NGO Info Center from Skopje (NGO IC); Regional Academy for Democratic Development from Novi Sad (ADD); Youth Act Center from Tirana (YA).
