Public reading of the European Commission’s report on Serbia 2025

The Center for Democracy Foundation and the Center for Contemporary Politics are organizing the traditional "Public reading of the European Commission’s report on Serbia 2025", which will take place on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the European House (8 Zmaj Jovina Street, Belgrade).

We will analyze whether Serbia has made progress in the European integration process over the past year. What are the key challenges and areas where stagnation or setbacks have occurred? What impact could the latest European Commission report have on the future course of Serbia's accession negotiations?

During the public reading, the European Commission's key findings by sector will be presented, with a particular focus on progress and challenges in areas such as judiciary, human rights, and anti-corruption efforts. We will compare the report on Serbia with those for other Western Balkan countries and offer recommendations for the next steps in integration from the perspective of organizations advocating for Serbia's long-term alignment with the European Union.
