The road to democracy through effective policy (2006)

This training programme for practical politics was designed for political party officials, NGO representatives, experts from various research institutions and other stakeholders who can or wish to influence the creation and implementation of policies in various areas. 

The project was implemented in partnership with the Belgrade Open School, in three sessions: 

• Writing effective proposals for practical politics training;
• Analysing experience in practical politics in Serbia;
• Practical work.

The programme was attended by 30 participants from various political parties, organisations, and institutions: the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Services, the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Independent Trade Unions, social services centres, municipal councils, the Democratic Party, the League of Hungarians in Vojvodina and others. 

Aiding the project were the US Embassy in Belgrade/Democracy Commission Small Grants
