Respect for Employees Rights – Confirmation of the Lawful State
Power of social responsibility – State, business, citizens for economies and social rights
Center for Democracy Foundation continues the campaign for protection of economic and social rights of employees in Serbia. We endorse the initiation of public debate and informing the general public on the importance of altering several articles in the Labor Law and other laws regulating the conception and documenting job contracts, working hours length and jurisdictions of Labor Inspection aiming to improve the efficiency in their implementation. In addition, we consider that the time for more active preparation of legal regulations on prevention of different forms of aggravation and harassment of employees has come. We are convinced that the proposed alterations will secure more efficient implementation of the employees’ rights guaranteed by the law.
