Published Public Policy Proposals – Collective Bargaining (CEECAW)
Challenges of Organizing and Collective Bargaining in the Care, Public Administration and Waste Management Sectors in Central and Eastern European Countries – CEECAW
As part of the project "Challenges of Organizing and Collective Bargaining in the Care, Public Administration and Waste Management Sectors in Central and Eastern European Countries – CEECAW", four comparative sectoral reports have been published – covering the care, waste management, and public administration sectors – as well as one comparative report on the development of collective bargaining in the context of the implementation of the EU Adequate Minimum Wages Directive. These reports were prepared based on 12 national reports from all countries participating in the CEECAW project.
Based on these four comparative reports, four policy papers have also been developed. They address the development of collective bargaining and the specific challenges in the care, waste management, and public administration sectors in Central and Eastern European countries, including Serbia as an EU candidate country. The policy papers include recommendations on how to increase collective bargaining coverage, in line with the Adequate Minimum Wages Directive.
The aim of these documents is to serve as a foundation for further work and dialogue among social partners in Central and Eastern European countries, as well as to inspire policymakers at both national and European levels.
The documents will be presented at the final roundtable event, to be held on October 15th in Brussels.
The CEECAW project is implemented with the support of the European Union. The project is coordinated by the Institute of Public Affairs (IPA) from Poland, while the Center for Democracy Foundation is the sole project partner from Serbia, an EU candidate country.
